A case was registered under sections of the law relating to insulting religious beliefs, P Sai Chaitanya, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad, said.
Accordingg to various reports, protests broke out in front of city Police Commissioner CV Anand's office and other parts of Hyderabad on Monday night.
Thousands of Muslims in Hyderabad protested in front of several police stations last night after the blasphemous comment of BJP MLA T Raja Singh.
The BJP legislator emulated & uttered the words of #NupurSharma. He also passed several other objectionable utterances.
sayad said by police - Sir If Raja Singh is not arrested till today we will call for Indefinite Hunger-Strike. We want him to get arrested by today. He should be charged under various sections of 153, 153-A, 188, 295-A, 298, 505 (1) (B) (C), 505 (2) and 506 of IPC.
