According to the newspaper, “playing activities on the field and in the dressing room” took place there, in front of the surveillance cameras. 

It was the Norwegian Bergen’s Tidende that brought the story out first. After Thursday’s training, part of SK Brann’s squad went out for dinner. Twelve players, however, still felt like an ‘after’ and went to a nightclub. There they met four ladies, who were taken to the Brann Stadium. 

Thee club has already responded to the incident on its website. “The police launched an investigation on Friday to check whether any criminal offenses had taken place. 

The club is cooperating to investigate everything to the bottom,” it sounds. “We realize that there are rumors about the use of illegal drugs, so we will also test the players ourselves,” added Vilbeke Johannesen, Brann’s general manager. 

Thee fans were also not at all happy with the activities of their players next to (and on) the field. Before the game against Sandjeford last weekend, a banner was hung on the stadium with ‘SCUM’ on it, which in English means something like ‘scum’.
