Virat Kohli meets Anushka Sharma during match, breaks players' protocol

Virat Kohli and Anushka SHarma are in the news once more and this time, for all the wrong reasons. The match between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore was halted after DD's innings due to rain and the players were taking a break. It was during that time that Virat Kohli signalled Anushka to come and meet him. According to BCCI's protocols, a player can only meet an official with an ID granted by ICC during a match and is not allowed to talk to anyone else. Anushka Sharma did not have any such ID but was still seen talking to Virat during the match. The protocol was established in order to curb spot-fixing in IPL. If BCCI decides to take action against the Test captain of India, they might also have to take action against India discard, Yuvraj Singh who was seen with the couple as well. During the match, Kohli and Yuvraj both did not adhere to the tournament rules when they were seen interacting with former's girlfriend and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma at the stadium.
Kohli, who opened the batting with Chris Gayle, had to return to the pavilion due to rain interruption after 1.1 overs.
As the players and spectators waited for rain to relent, Kohli took this break in play to chat with his girlfriend who was seated in the stand next to the teams' dressing rooms.
With Kohli, Yuvraj and other players standing on the dressing room balcony, Anushka got up from her seat and went up to Kohli and were seen talking for some time.
The giant screen at the venue also flashed this moment and the host broadcaster too beamed it across the globe. Yuvraj also joined in the conversation.
However, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Anti Corruption Policy, players are barred from talking or mixing with people when the game is on.
This was clear case of Kohli and Yuvraj going against the rules when the match was still in progress. It was much later that the contest was officially called off due to rain.
This is not the first time that Kohli, as a captain and player, has found himself in the wrong. And this might not be the last too.
Will BCCI warn Kohli and Yuvraj?
